New Pay on a Schedule Feature

Guess what? It’s Thursday. You know what that means? It’s update time!

As everyone knows, we currently have a very convenient payment method called “Pay as You Earn”. This allows you to pay down your balance with money earned by selling products in your store. However, some people have asked us if they could pay monthly with a credit card, rather than from their PayPal account. We thought this was a great idea. Not only does it allow you to pay with whatever credit card you want, it allows you to only deal with a single bill each month, which works great for record keeping. So that’s what we did. You can now turn off “Pay as You Earn” by adding a credit card, and once a month on your “Open for Business” date, your balance will be paid off with your saved card, and we’ll email you an invoice. Also, since we added a way for you to pay us with a credit card, the sign in and dashboard areas now use HTTPS encryption.

To switch to “Pay on a Schedule”, follow these steps:

  1. Go into your dashboard by signing in on the homepage.
  2. Go to your store’s “Settings” area.
  3. Go 3 spots down, to the “Current Usage” section.
  4. Click “Change Payment Method”.
  5. Click “Pay on a Schedule”.
  6. Enter your credit card details.
  7. Click “Charge & Save” and wait for the screen to update.
