Ticket Sales, Now With Integrated Digital Downloads

Hot on the heels of our recent Ticket Selling Module announcement, we’re really happy to release a new feature that ties Ticket Sales into our best-in-the-business digital platform.

If you’ve ever sold a product on Limited Run, then you already know how easy it is to attach digital items to a product’s variations. Each variation on a product can optionally have its own digital item attached, and today, we’ve extended this same, incredibly flexible and easy to use digital system, to ticket sales.

To get started, just click “Edit” next to any existing show you’ve created, or start off with a new show from the “Tickets” area of your dashboard. At the bottom of the show editor, you’ll see a new “Digital Item” column in the “Ticket Types” section. From here, you can optionally select an existing digital item, or create a new one inline. That’s it!

When your fans buy tickets with attached digital items, they’ll not only go through the specially designed ticket buying experience we’ve created, but they’ll also be provided the digital items that went along with those tickets, instantly after paying for them - just like with regular products.

To get started with the Ticket Selling Module, just follow these steps:

  1. Go into your dashboard by signing in on the homepage.
  2. Go to your store’s “Modules” > “Manage Modules” area.
  3. Install the “Ticket Selling” Module.
  4. Click “Tickets” in your dashboard’s top navigation.
  5. Click the “New Show” button.
